What to do in case of emergency

We ask that patients call our office as soon as possible if you have a dental emergency.  Please do not come directly to the office – by calling us, you will allow us to create a time to see you. Even if you have a regular appointment scheduled, call us immediately to notify us if you may need more time at this appointment.

Existing Patients/Patients of Record:
For our existing patients, our doctors can always be reached in the case of an emergency.  If it is normal office hours, we will do our best to see you that day. If after hours or on weekends and holidays, our doctors can be reached by phone to discuss your emergency with you to determine the appropriate treatment needed at that time. In most cases, the emergency can be seen the next available business day.

New Patients:
Sometimes the first visit to our office may be for an emergency.  One of our doctors will try to see you as soon as possible during regular office hours.   It is our hope that we will be able to answer all your questions and handle your emergency in a timely manner. After your emergency has been addressed, we hope you will schedule a new patient exam with one of our hygienists, in order to become a patient of record within our practice.
